HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
4th and 5th graders are doing research finding out the important events that took place on their birthday! It has been fun watching them learn of famous events and celebrities that share their birthday. They are creating PowerPoint presentations with the information, and will share their presentations with the class. The websites they are using are www.mybirthdayfacts.com, www.famousbirthdays.com, and www.history.com. We have been listing to music from the 70's to give them a little taste of culture from "way" back when some of their teachers were born!
